Here is the first update from the grass court season.
First of all in Stuttgart, Fed defeated Milos Raonic 6-4, 7-6(3) to win the Mercedes Cup. Great win for Fed, who is now back to #1 in the rankings. In Holland, Richie and Aleksandra Krunic won the men's and women's singles titles at the Libema Open. Lastly in Nottingham, Alex de Minaur and Ashleigh Barty won the singles titles at the Nature Valley Open. So that's the story for the first tournaments of the grass court season. Next up on the schedule this week will be the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen's Club, the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, the Nature Valley Classic in Birmingham and the Mallorca Open. Andy Murray will be making his long awaited return to action for the first time in nearly a year at Queen's Club tomorrow against Nick Kyrgios. I'm very happy that Andy is finally about to return to the court. __________________

Thanks for this update. It's kinda strange that this is called ''grass court season'' since it lasts actually only around a month long or so. I do wish their more tournaments on grass than had & clay though. Oh well. Gotta enjoy the ones we can I guess. Excited to that Andy Murray is returning this week.

I thought it was disappointing how Djokovic basically self-destructed in set 2 tiebreak of the Final. In the past, he would have embraced that winning position... Now, after the long injury break, he just seems afraid of winning. He basically beat himself and handed it to Cilic (with all due respect to Marin, I just wasn't convinced that he would have beat an in-form Novak ) I wouldn't be surprised if Kvitova wins Eastbourne, she seems more determined than ever after winning Birmingham __________________
