September 28th training camp begins in the N.B.A. & on October 19th the regular season starts. Quite exciting.

They're summer games mostly for rookies and other players looking to establish themselves and secure a job with a team. They're the first "official" games before the season.

A trade has happened over the weekend. It's the Clippers trading Patrick Beverly, Rajon Rondo, & Daniel Oturo, to Memphis for Eric Bledsoe. Eric Bledsoe was recently traded to the Grizzlies.

Man I hope every team is healthy next season, so we the fans can get the matchups we deserve.

That won't happen. Remember Dario Saric tore his A.C.L. in the N.B.A. Finals. He's expected out until at least April 1st. Zach Collins whom was often injured for Portland won't return to action for San Antonio likely until at least December 31st. Pascal Siakam is out until November likely with a shoulder injury.

Victor Oladipo is not expected to return to games until December 1st dealing with his quad injury.

Kawhi Leonard isn't expected to be back in games until at least February 1st.

Jamaal Murray remember tore his A.C.L. in April & won't return until likely at least New Year's Day.

Klay Thompson is not expected to return until Christmas Day.

Okongwu of the Hawks had shoulder surgery last month & is expected to be out of action for Atlanta until at least sometime in January.

Those are some of the current injuries to N.B.A. players.

On N.B.A. T.V. the Lakers/Kings game 5 of that Western Conference Finals that they had in 2002 is currently airing. Go Kings! Such low scoring compared to this year in the N.B.A. though, the N.B.A. Finals that changed.

Game 6 is the controversial game from that series right?

I think so. The Lakers won it by a score of 106-102. Game 5 by the way went into overtime. Chris Webber & Doug Christie each fouled out, but Bobby & Jackson Jackson & Mike Bubby played incredible down the stretch. Unfortunately Sacramento has not had much success since then. I thought that their playoff drought would have ended this year, but nope.
