Continue here. :)

Yeah. That was odd how the Nuggets played that last Lakers possession, but Davis made a good shot. I hope that this series won't be a sweep though.

Thanks for the new thread. :)

Let's go Denver! Please make this a decent series.

canflam 09-22-2020 07:59 PM

Hi guys! This is is going to be a frustrating & disappointing loss by Denver if they don't hold onto this lead. It's an 18 point game at this time. In other news, the Chicago Bulls reportedly have hired Billy Donovan as their head coach replacing Jim Boylen.

Great win by Denver!

I would LOVE for them to shock the world and win the series.

canflam 09-23-2020 09:39 PM

Yes. The Heat are tough. Good win by them today. Tyler Herro is player of this series I think at this point, with Miami needing only 1 more game to win in it.

They are. I always liked Jimmy Butler especially when he was on the Bulls.

Because we had so many months without sports I find myself watching a little bit of the Boston Celtics NBA Games . Minus all the normal loud fans and dancers mascots etc... Still as slow paced near the end of each game . Way too many timeouts in the NBA.
Perhaps because I was a fan of basketball from the 70s to the 90s. I miss the old style of fighting for the ball under the basket . not a lot of flopping.
Every game I look it on there is so much flopping .

Doc Rivers out as LA Clippers coach after 'disappointing' end to season

canflam 10-04-2020 07:07 PM

Not surprising there. He already has another gig with the 76ers I think. Terrific performance by the Heat today & they win 115-104.

NOLA504 10-04-2020 08:21 PM

Yeah I didn't a want a sweep.

Thanks.

Glad the Finals will not be a sweep, but I think the Lakers got this one.

Unfortunately for me. ;)

NBA: Two calls that should have gone Los Angeles Lakers' way missed late in Game 5 loss

canflam 10-10-2020 09:48 PM

Well, as in that article, LeBron James got a rebound & made the putback after he was supposedly fouled. Davis also scored after a missed defensive 3 seconds call, which 3 second violations regularly seem to happen in this league without it being called by refs. I did not watch game 5 of this series, but I'd guess that wasn't the only missed 3 seconds call in it. It would be nice if that was called more often I think, but it probably won't be. Lakers need to stop Jimmy Butler ftom getting a triple double in game 6 & they should be fine, otherwise I think the Heat will win it.
