I know - I'm surprised at how, well, consistently good he's been. But that's good

Is Schumi retiring at the end of the year? Kimi racing for Ferrari is a strange thought. I wanted him and Alonso at Renault, but that would make Renault even stronger...but now they don't look so good. Not that it's really important, Honda has its own problems, as does Jensen I think Kimi will be #1, too

Massa, well, incredible driving today!

Yeah, I'm surprised too

And Ferrari is going to announce tonight if Schumacher will drive next year or not

Btw, the qualifying has begun!

Is Jensen in the relegation zone? I had a stomachache, couldn't watch.

I didn't expect Fisico to be so weak today. What was he doing during Session 3? Fernando had bad luck, but where was Fisichella? *thinks why Fisi is only tenth*
Anyway, congrats to Kimi! Well done.
Ferrari is looking strong, very strong. I'm not happy with it. :/

Wow, the qualifying was amazing. Even though I didn't like the results...

It was kinda unexpected. I expected Alonso to be better. And also Felipe. :/
And I didn't expect Kimi to get the poli! But congrats to him!

But tomorrow the race's going to be great I guess. Alonso will try to overtake Massa on the start and Michael is going to overtake Kimi!

I was hoping Felipe could beat Michael in qualifying once again. I'm sure he was able to do it.

I'm afraid of Alonso's chances tomorrow, his car is damaged a bit and aero efficiency is very important on Monza.

ETA: Bloody hell! Fernando was delegated to 10th on the grid for blocking Felipe. That's not good for him, since he has his car not in best condition. :/

Maan penalised? I don't fancy his chances later. And Ferrari are going to be really, really strong. And yay for Kimi being in pole

I suppose I should just be happy that Jensen is 6th, but after him winning the British Grand Prix I was hoping he could sustain some form of challenge.

Schumacher has just annouced he's retiring
But I have to confess that I'm glad for Massa. He will drive for Ferrari for two more years.
The annoucement was really touching. Schumacher thanked everyone and said that he loved every single moment he spent in the F1.
Schumacher saying that was his last Monza GP was really sad though

But the GP was really bad today... I mean, it was a nice race, but the final results were very bad to Felipe and mainly to Alonso.

Wow, just came back home from my friend, with whom I've watched the race... I'm still stunned.

Don't know what to start with. I thought I was dreaming, when I saw Fernando's engine blowing. At first I was hoping it was Fisichella's engine, but then I realised it's not Giancarlo, it's Alonso. I almost cried. And then Felipe's tyre. :/
The only thing that made me a bit happy was Robert on podium, but still... I'm not Michael fan, but watching him announce, that he's leaving F1, was so strange. What he said, was so emotional and sad. It's going to be really strange to watch F1 next year without Schumacher, who had been in the sport for 15 years. But I guess it's time for fresh blood.

Yeh, it'll be very strange to watch F1 without Schumacher

But now I don't want Schumacher to win next race
Cos I want the decision to happen in Interlagos

Me neither! I want Fernando to win and to win the WDC.

Yeh, I want Alonso to win the WDC too

But actually all I want is Felipe to win the Brazilian GP It'd be so awesome!

Yeah, right. It's always nice, when a driver wins his home GP.

Definitely.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Schumacher, but the anouncement made me sad. He's an awesome driver and he's made his impact on the sport. But it's time for fresh blood, like you guys have said, and it's good that he's leaving in such a dignified way.

The race though shocking. Alsonso's engine blowing, and Massa's tyre...but still. Massa has been incredible. I'm glad he's driving for Ferrari for the next little while, at least.

i completely agree with you. i'm also not a schumi fan but i do agree that he's one of the greatest drivers around. i don't think anyone can beat the records he made in F1. i was shocked a litte, i thought he will extend up to next year. but it was also expected because we've been talking about his retirement since last year.

ferrari confirmed massa-kimi for next year. i think massa's a good driver but...i don't wanna sound biased but kimi's better.
