Another great game in the middle of the week which got Real Madrid in the 3rd place.

Man City getting knocked out of the FA Cup was a surprise, no quadruple for them. And yeah, the end wasn't nice.

That's great!!

I know fans were on the pitch and a player from Manchester City was in the middle of the craziness.

I guess they were celebrating Wigan winning and one of them got into an altercation with Aguero.

Another great game for Real Madrid beating Alaves 4-0. It finally looks like they’re getting back on track, I hope they can keep this up for the rest of the season.

Man City won their first trophy of the season, the EFL Cup. A very poor performance from Arsenal, could this finally be the end of Wenger?

Maybe it will be the end of Wenger but we know it will take a lot to get rid of him.

True. Maybe if Arsenal doesn't win any trophies. Last season they won the FA Cup so that probably saved Wenger.

They took another L from Man City yesterday.

Are you watching any matches today? The Saints can’t score vs. Stoke, but Stoke hasn’t scored either thankfully. Tough that Swansea is leading West Ham by 4 goals. West Brom is looking like they’ll stay in 20th.

I watched Tottenham's game this morning.

Since I was away visiting family, I only watched Real Madrid's match on Saturday night and kept an eye on the Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid match on Sunday. What a disappointment that was. (Real Madrid however didn't disappoint. )

I watched Crystal Palace vs. Man Utd last night. What a comeback from Man Utd and I can imagine how crushing it felt for Crystal Palace.

Also, did you hear about the death of the Italian footballer Davide Astori?

Yes I watched the Barcelona game Sunday morning. It was an exciting game.

I watched some of the Manchester United vs Crystal Palace. Ouch that one hurt.

Yes I did hear about David Astori. He was only 31, that's so sad.

I wasn’t able to watch it properly, I just kept an eye on it on my phone. I suppose it was a good game, I just would have liked a different outcome.

Yeah it definitely hurt to lose at the last minute like that. Crystal Palace played really well but Man Utd just fought back.

He was so young and he also had a young child. So scary that something like this can happen, life is so fragile. They cancelled all the matches in Serie A on Sunday and observe a minute’s silence in all the UCL matches (and other European matches) this week. Also his former clubs retired the number of his jersey.

(I accidentally made a typo and misspelled his name in my previous post which I have edited.)

Yeah, I had a feeling Barcelona wasn't going to lose that game. Especially with how sloppy they played in their prior game.

Yeah it was so sad that he died. He was so young.

It's typical Atletico. They had won their last 6 or 7 games but did absolutely nothing against Barca, it was like they didn't even show up. Good job wasting their only chance at even having a shot at La Liga.

Sudden deaths of young athletes like that are so scary. There have been some lovely tributes to him this week, and his funeral was on Thursday.

I mean lots of teams have had a hard time with Barca this season. Though a win or even getting a draw would have been huge for them.

In other news Harry Kane is injured. Hoping it's not serious especially with the World Cup coming up.

Also crazy scenes in both West Ham and even crazier scene in the Greek league.
