Amelia, did you start using a different cosmetic recently? Or maybe tried out new food? I had a bad allergic reaction last year when I started to use a new body scrub, my skin looked awful.
I think it might be a body wash or shampoo, so I'm avoiding the ones I was using to see if it clears up.

And congratulations to your sister!

That is... very cold.

Allergies are the worst, my skin is so sensitive.

Thank you!

I know! It was around 0 yesterday and when I woke up today and checked the weather on my phone I was quite surprised.

It's not even the worst temperature I ever experienced but this winter has been unusually warm, it spoiled me.

It's been around 0 until now, that's really warm for winter in Poland. About a decade ago it was so cold, the heaters at my university froze, the elevators stopped working and the door didn't close because it froze half open, so we had no classes for a few days. The decision about suspending the classes was still pretty late though, we had some classes fully dressed, wearing coats, gloves, hats and scarves.

We’ve gotten down to -30 F this year. About froze my ass off.

Congrats on becoming an aunt again, Paulina!

Oh, Amelia, I feel for you! I had itchiness this summer, if you’ll recall, and it sucked! The dermatologist I went to said that it could be from dryer sheets. Do you have your own washer/dryer or use one that other people use?

My roommates and I share the washer/dryer, but unless one of them switched detergents recently, I don't think it'd be that. Considering we've lived together for a while and it hasn't bothered me like this before.

I'm going to try and make a dermatology appointment for this week, because it's really bothering me.

I googled the lowest recorded temperatures in Australia and acc. to wikipedia temperatures below 0 do occur but were recorded mainly in New South Wales.

There is a table with the hottest and coldest temperatures for each month:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climat...a#Temperatures

Amelia, hopefully you can figure it out soon.

Congrats to your sister, Paulina. Another niece for you to spoil silly.

Amelia, yikes ... hope that you can figure out the cause soon. Sometimes, it's things that we've used over and over again but you just develop allergies all of a sudden, so I've heard. So could be soap/detergent for sure. Even if you've used them for a while.
