It was fun. It was a matinee performance, and the lunch was not at all German - which was a disappointment for me. But the cast included some very talented singers.

My day involved taking my car in, and they think it's the transmission. Which is exactly what I need after getting laid off, but hey.

Today was catch up on laundry day. I still love having my own washer/dryer - but despite that, I do sometimes put it off a little long.

Meh. I only did 2 out of 3 loads. Today was grocery shopping - which actually means ordering online and going to pick it up. I stopped by the local Chinese Carry-Out restaurant for the first time to give them a try. It was actually quite good. Glad to know I won't be deprived of good Chinese Take-Out.

Yesterday I went to the Cincinnati zoo with the friend I stay with when I'm in Kentucky. Only about half the animals were out, but we just needed something to do during the day. After that we met a friend for dinner and then we saw the Mean Girls musical. One of the former leads in Wicked on tour (who is, like, one of my top celeb crushes) is playing my favorite Mean Girls character on the tour, and the day she was announced as joining the cast I started making plans to go, and thankfully had my two friends wanting to go with me. The show was great, we got posters signed by the whole cast (as a thank you for donations we made to Broadway Cares) and I drove home through the night after - a long day, but a really fun one.

Now I have a bunch of laundry to do, but my logic is, I'm laid off, I literally have nothing going on, it can wait.

I have so damn many clothes anyway, from the days my depression was so bad and so unmedicated I would go months without doing laundry and kept buying new clothes.
