I knew that they would pick an engine for cross gen.. What I'm saying is the engine they picked was with the Ps3 in mind, they didn't know it was going to be an xbox exclusive until EA came out with the deal with Microsoft.

I can wait, I've got plenty of Battlefield 4 left, and I'm sure I'll find ways to survive without Titanfall

OK, I have a question. I hope this is the right place to get an answer.

I was thinking about buying an xbox 360 and GTA 5, well cause they're awesome. What I want to know is how to connect to the online portion, do I have to pay to play the online part or what cause if I do, I don't think I want to buy it just to be stuck with single player only mode.

I'm gonna say the best way to explain this to me is step by step like you're telling a child, lol. Seriously, though, step by step.

Online only costs money for the internet access. It is included with purchase of the game either on demand or on disc. You just load it up and play. The only thing that costs real world money is there are things called Shark Visas that will pretty much buy you in game currency in large amounts so you can buy fancy apartments and sports cars.

You're wanting to play GTA online?

If I understand right you need Xbox live gold which is 60 bucks for a year, or 5 dollars a month

See, I knew it. Now I don't want to waste my money to play online when I will already be paying for thr console and the game. This makes me sad.

What about the PS3? Is GTA 5 online free for that?

GTA5 online is haphazard at best. Barely able to connect at all - their servers are so weak they can not handle traffic at all... I do not even recommend playing GTA5 online at all. You can play with others offline by using two controllers on either console or if you had two XBOX360's for example, yours and a friends one you can plug them into each other and play together on separate tv screens in the same game offline without having to make the tv screen split-screen.

Yeah you need an Xbox Live Gold Membership for virtually anything.

Yes, on Ps3 they do not require a subscription to play online, but on Ps4 they do.

GTA online on PS3 will be free.

The paid online thing is a much better service with better servers and support vs free.

Do not just buy a console for one game due to this tiny non-issue. I did that for my Wii and PS2... Never again.

I never had any issues with Ps3 online, but I have heard of people having problems with it.

Personally, if you're gonna buy a Ps3 make sure they have exclusives you like.

There have been times where PSN was shut down for a month at a time - lucky it was a free service otherwise you'd be pissed-off if you had that happen and were paying for it - like you do now.

PSN is a joke. It goes down twice a month for maintenance. I know it's only for a few hours, usually, but if you happen to want something to play, you're screwed. Xbox is awesome. Paying for online services is even better now because most games got rid of the online pass. So you get the ability to do so much more with it.

I've never had a problem with PSN, though I ddin't play much on PS3.

I've heard people haven't been able to connect to Titanfall on XB1 but i haven't had issues connecting to PSN at all so far.
