I have been a gold person for nearly 5 years... Onionroach (former mod here) has been a gold person for over 10 years since the original XBOX came out. Kind of feel left out here in a way.

Anyway, how good is Ryse ih your opinion also Forza5? I have seen youtube videos and they are all raving about it and I am impressed by both visually and in their gameplay controls etc while watching the videos but seeing videos vs playing the actual games are very different animals.

Well the videos are correct. Ryse is so lifelike in facial expressions. Controls are a little clunky at times but not too bad. The combat gets repetitive but it still super cool as you can upgrade and change your executions. Short campaign. I'm over half way through, my friend beat it on the second day. Highly recommended, the multiplayer is also very cool. You play with one other person in a gladiator arena and take on hordes of different enemies and objectives. 8 out of 10.

Forza is just the best. Looks like real life, controls amazing and the rumbling in each trigger give you such a life like feel of what you're doing. Leveling up is harder in this game than in prior Forza games so it forces you to be conservative in buying certain cars versus saving money. Playing with friens is super cool because you can rent cars. Of course, my friend didn't tell me this so he rented a super fast car while I drove the car I owned (a POS slow one) so that wasn't as fun. 10 out of 10.

Ryse and Dead Rising are the two Xbox games out that have my attention right now

The other one being Titanfall but I'm not sure how interested I am in that one yet

I actually sold back Ryse already. I beat the story and the multiplayer isn't unique enough to hold my attention. It was an absolutely wonderful story and I had so much fun playing it. Highly recommended; just super short and no lasting qualities to justify owning it forever.

I super duper recommend Dead Rising 3, though. I \hate most modern zombie things but this game is so much fun. Taking out the timed mission thing and the save points now being literally anywhere, makes this game more appetizing.

The demo for Dead Rising 3 was amazing

I'm not as interested in Ryse anymore, I like a good story but it needs good gameplay too

Ryse was an AWESOME game....but once you beat it (takes about 4-5 hours) there's not much to do but go through it again or do multiplayer....which is just like single player only in slightly different environment. Getting it for 30 bucks would be perfect....I paid 60 and fortunately got 45 back for it, for the experience and fun I had, certainly worth 15 bucks!

Yeah, I could see your point there, it's like Knack- There's nothing wrong with the game, it's just not worth 60 and I played Ryse's MP- it was okay

Titanfall looks cool, but I still dont see anything worth dropping 500 bucks for if you dont watch TV

I think I'm most hyped for Infamous: SS and Destiny in 2014

If you don't watch TV? lol. It is very convenient that I can hook my cable box into the xbox one. Mostly so I can manage my friends and the party while still watching TV...though it has become a pain now that my Kinect is broken. Can't wait to have that fixed. I'm still going to buy Knack although it looks like amazon has it for cheaper than retail.

My fiance has got me addicted to Peggle 2. We are competitive with each other when it comes to these sort of games. I ended up beating the game before he did so I am pretty happy
