I want to be, but that didn't do it for me. It was very buggy and Eivor is out of focus half the time, but I'm sure they'll sort it out in the next 4 months.

I don't know, it looked like more of the same from the previous two. Not that it's a bad thing, it just wasn't a well-polished way to show off a game supposedly running on next-gen consoles.

Yeah, I love Witcher, but I don't like how Ubisoft is just reducing the AC franchise to a trend-chasing Witcher knockoff.

I did read some stuff about Valhalla that make me less excited for it though, like it not having many side quests.

It feels like they're just using the Assassin's Creed name because the brand recognition will guarantee sales, unlike if they had launched these epic fantasy RPGs as a new IP.

I don’t think it’s that at all, they’ve just finally landed on a time period that other games have done.

AC had gone stale before Origins. That and Odyssey are two of the best, if not the best two games in the series.

I guess the whole many side quests and traveling across Greece fitted Odyssey, because it was, well, an odyssey.

I thought it was awesome though.
