Yeah, it was weird how even on the final cover art for Syndicate, Evie is standing off to the side behind Jacob with a bunch of his nameless Rook henchmen. Even worse on the gold edition, she gets greyed out while Jacob is surrounded by a glowing white aura.
Speaking of the Frye twins, I prefer Syndicate's implementation of the male/female protagonist mechanic. Being able to switch back and forth any time was great, I wish they'd bring that back. __________________

I didn't like the way Syndicate did protagonists, because they made you use Jacob for 90% of story missions.

Jacob ended up getting more missions, but the dual player character feature was still a cool idea.
The thing I really hated about Syndicate was the single save slot. You couldn't replay the game without deleting your 100% save. Who the hell thought that was a brilliant idea? (Edit: Apparently because microtransactions.  )__________________

It was better than nothing at the time, after saying that they just couldn't do female characters after Unity came out.

Yeah, of course, it was better than nothing. I really liked Evie, I just prefer an actual female protagonist.
