yep. i know there is some speculation that she might be the one .. but I can't see the show ever writing her character off unless she just wants to leave and from all appearances, she is enjoying what she's doing so I just can't give much credence to that

that they are... I mean, she could want to leave. wouldn't be the first time an actor or actress has left a show while under a contract for a variety of reasons....

To be fair I don't remember a lot of actresses allowed to leave a show while they're still under contract, unless there's big issues with the production - or unless they already want to write them off the show and the network agrees with it.

I think the lady that wanted to play Kate, Sasha Alexander, I think, I think she wanted to leave NCIS so they killed her off. At least that was the story that I heard.
and its more rare but it wouldn't surprise me if more write offs of characters were, somewhat mutually agreed to part ways on. __________________

Probably. In shows like NCIS where it's easier to change someone from the cast, or in cable show, I think one of the recurring from Vikings asked to be written off too, but with the kind of shows or network like the CW, it's rare for them to let go anyone as long their contracts run, quite the contrary  |
