My other favorite scene with them is in the cabin with the Twister and the pot brownies. That was the first time Janet let herself loosen up a bit and the first time Trina let the other see her fears and vulnerabilities.
And when Janet won in the Twister and Trina kissed her hand with "My Queen" - I died! What a great forshadowing!

or also when Janet showed up to the Deckers first party and Janet was looking for her husband and Trina sent her to the basement omg what she saw there really messed up her mind

That was a really mean thing to do, the basement scarred her.

During the first episodes particularly, I sometimes got the vibe that something romantic was going to develop between Susan and Trina. As the show progressed though, it turned out that I must have imagined that.

Yes, there was something. Sometimes it did seem romantic. But other times it did seem that she longed for the kind of friendship Susan and Janet shared. With their scrapbook and little rituals and honest frienly love between them. Trina had a great, fancy life, and altough they clearly adored each other with Tom, she seemed really longing for a true friend and a simpler life.

Do you think if the show had gone to a second season Trina would have kept the baby? I really wanted her to keep it.

it certaintly did things to her

and yes I agre I think she longed for the friendship that she and janet shared.. or overall for a friend, cause she really didnt have many. sex buddies yes but no real friends she could actually open up to.

and if she would have been romantic about everyone I would have wanted it to be Janet
