I'm really not sure if they got a budget cut this season. And if so I'm wondering if they could bring her back for flashbacks. Sadly it's most of the time all about the money

When I think flashback, I think of the young Kaplan. But I would love to see Susan in flashbacks too. They could do the time before Red came in Lizs life or even instances in S2 or one. Maybe recreate when Lizs memories were manipulated the second time.

For example the memory manipulation scene ould be a great way to bring her back. Although I'm not sure in what capacity Mr. Kaplan could be involved in it
 I don't want her to be, honestly because that would make everything that happened from then on a lie.__________________

I see you're point. I actually wasn't thinking Kaplan did the manipulating; although she does know about it. The flashback could show us how.

Marilyn, you think she really could know about the memory manipulation? Okay, would make sense since she got this guy back... Why not in the first place?
 With Kaplan betraying Red in season 3 I simply don't think of her as such a fantastic character anymore which really made me not love the flashback episode as much as I should have. That betrayal was too much for me, the character died for me with it. So besides of even more confusion the flashback episode did nothing to me __________________

Kate seemed to have her own life maybe she found out about he second manipulation on her own.
