Mr. "Kate" Kaplan is a very mysterious woman. She has worked for Raymond Reddington for many years. She is Reddington's personal "cleaner" who comes in to scrub crime scenes. She helps Reddington clean up after he kills Diane Fowler. She also disposed the bodies of Lucy Brooks and the Cowboy after they are found by Reddington's people. Mr. Kaplan faked Liz's death with the knowledge and help of Liz, Tom and Nik to help Liz and her daughter escape Red's lifestyle. Red finds out that Mr. Kaplan faked Liz's death after an associate of him tells him that Mr. Kaplan made arrangements for Tom and Agnes to leave the country. Red demands that Mr. Kaplan tells him where Tom and Agnes are and tells her that Alexander Kirk is after them. Then Mr. Kaplan reveals that Liz is still alive and is with Tom and Agnes. She is shot in the head by Red but survives and is held hostage by an unknown man.

I don't know if I miss her. I still hate her for what she did but I want to know where she is and how she is doing. If she is still being held by the mountain man or not.

Wow, another one again...

I definitely don't miss her character... She did what she deserved for betraying Red like that and she knew that this was the fate that awaited her shall she go so far. I'm really worried as well, that the plot might destroy even more of our characters by bringing her back completely...

But I really miss the talent of Susan Blommaert on our show. That's for sure. I sooo love this woman!

I agree Kris. I liked Kaplan and the actress. Loved her episodes until they did this to her character. Now I am finished with the character. And don't want redemption for her.

You know I was thinking about the finale. Wouldn't it be something if it ended with Kaplan capturing Red and holding the gun to his face saying now what am I going to do with you, Red?

I think she (and Dembe also) sees the bigger picture in some ways Red can't.
