You know I don't see Cooper as personally involved in this even though he cares about Liz. Maybe because it's Tom whose dead. But I think he can be distant enough to be a voice of reason.

I meant that he's not personally involved in the search for Toms killer: not like he felt when Liz died.

I am sure it is definitly different for him.. Liz's "death" or Tom's death. Liz means so much more to him than Tom ever did.

That's true and I totally agree with you about that.

But this doesn't change that he might feel with her and might therefore not be as neutral and business like as he should be... I think it will be hard for him to draw a line.
