Yeah, in the latest episodes he is... It's kind of strange that there's nothing going on with him anymore. No higher officials that are about to be contacted through him, nothing like that. Not anything personal going on.

I was thinking the same thing Miranda. It's not like she wants justice. He knows she wants revenge. Maybe he thinks he can better look out for her if she's on the task force.

I really don't know either... Maybe he things that he'll have some influence to some degree if she is around? He wasn't able to help her in any way, protect her or get her back on track when he wasn't even seeing her.
