I know it really is sort of sad... and Maggie was bulied a lot from what she said and always felt out of place... and Mer sounds like she had such a lonely childhood sigh... i imagine they both would have loved to have been sisters and had each other through all of those years to lean on and to be with...

I feel like it would sigh... one of the points where i get bitter at Elis... rubbing these two of knowing each other for so long sigh... i mean i applaud her on the front that she knew what could be better for the child... but i feel sad that she rubbed these sisters of growing up with each other.. and also for how she rubbed richard of the chance to be a father... gave him a chance to know his daughter... idk the feminist in me says it is the womans choice alone, the person in me feel sad for Richard, and Mer not having Maggie (daughter/Sister in their life for all those years)

**** it is sad to think about :-( little Mer must have been so sad and lonely... sigh... maybe that is why she is so protective and holding so tight to Maggie now... that she knows she actually could have grown up with her and been less lonely and she doesnt want to risk her ever leaving???

I totally agree... and i still need to write out this long tumblr rant on a stupid confession post i saw about Maggie and how stupid it was that Mer loved her when it took her like 5 years to treat Lexie as a human being... sigh...

Lol. If by 5 years they mean less than one shortened season ... then okay. Mer found out about Lexie at the beginning of the short s4, and by the middle of the season Cristina had her at Mer’s house to dance it out and Mer helped her too.

I know lmao and she tried to make breakfast for her the next day...

and even if we stretch it and say okay she was also hard on her later that season she was living with Mer after Derek brought her home mid season 5...and Mer even had made her a bridesmaid in the wedding at the end of season 5 so umm yeah really 5 years especially as season 4 and 5 is meant to be one year together if i remember correctly... though i gave up on the timeline...

Yeah, their relationship had some bumps - like everyone - but Mer accepted her fairly early on even if they still had some issues to work out.
