Maybe that was one of his reasons for Thatcher leaving.. Everything that happened slitting her wrists, pregnant etc.. happened in Boston.

Slitting her wrists happened in Boston? I always imagined it happened in Seattle, though if it'd happened in Seattle then Richard would have known likewise unless they took her to another hospital. I just thought it might have happened in Seattle because of when Mer was cleaning of Rebecca's blood, I imagined it was in the same spot Ellis's blood had been.

I'm interested in the back story with Ellis and Richard, but I'm not interested in getting to know the half-sister tbh. I hope it'll be more of a Richard/Ellis story rather than building the character of Maggie to be too important. I don't want her and Mer to become BFFs and "Auntie Maggie" scenes. No thank you.

Same feelings. I want it to be an Ellis/Richard story.. I always liked their scenes together, their history and story.. and anything on Mer's past/childhood is very much welcome.

I don't care about Maggie at all.

The side is weird because of the "shipwrecked" scenario, but it could intentionally confusing to throw us off. The reunion was what made me think it could be Meredith, if she did see her dad again after he left.

The other kid in the slide is Luca and that's clearly a developed patient story. There wouldn't need to be an Ellis side though, because Kate is already cast. They'd just need a little Mer, if she is going to appear.

I wonder if this means James will play the younger version of Richard. Most likely.
