It was funny when Mark tried to hit on Mer and she turned him down continuously.

She didn't fall for his charm like all the other women. It's kind of funny...the only guys Mer never slept with in the earlier seasons were Mark and Alex, the two manwhores of the show. (And Burke...but he doesn't count).
