They are. We saw them at events together, and even double dates.

I'm still pissed they dropped their friendship after s4. Ellen and Eric had so much chemistry together, and their scenes were always fun to watch.

I've been reading some fanfics that really emphasize on Mark and Meredith's friendship, and it's really making me miss their friendship.

Derek didn't grieve Mark's death for near as long as he should have - but much of that was overshadowed by the pregnancy and the lawsuit. I still wish they would have somehow named their son after Mark.

Even if it was his middle name. I don't like that Bailey's first name is Derek or that he is named after two living characters. I also feel like Dr. Bailey doesn't deserve for Meredith's son to be named after her, considering how she's treated Meredith this year.
