I agree that adorable, precious baby deserved better than to named after Miranda UGHH, I can't stand her especially how she treats Meredith. Saving Meredith or not (it's her job anyway as a doctor)

Exactly. Just because a doctor saves your life doesn't mean you name your kid after them.

I would have rather they named him Cristian or some variation after Cristina.

Soooo many better names. Who da hell named that baby in the writers' room? I don't like them.

I've always imagined Derek's dad's name was Christopher, and he probably already has a nephew named Christopher. Still, they could have used it as a middle name.

Miranda saved Mer's life. She is the reason why Derek still have a wife and why their kids didnt lost their mother. I love Mark. I do but naming him after her is reasonable.

I would have prefered Christopher though

She's a doctor. She's supposed to save lives.

It's not like she did anything out of the ordinary. She didn't risk her life to save Meredith's. Now, if she'd done that, then sure. And she's been a bitch to Meredith ever since Meredith did name her kid after her.

Look Miranda annoys me too recently but im not gonna minimize what she did and why they named the baby after her. It made sense.

It just seemed like a split second decision to me. Idk. I wonder what name Meredith thought of before she lost consciousness, because I doubt it was Bailey. Miranda hadn't saved her life yet.
