I'm not sure Kenna can change that much or anybody right now. It's just that the fans lost interest but well, they will at least get a S4

Yeah, I'm not sure if bringing Kenna back would help - especially after Francis is gone. But, I'm really glad that they are likely getting a fourth season. I'm happy for the cast and crew.

I'm worried how many of cast members will leave the show after S3 and won't even appear in S4.

I mean, when Francis is dead it's possible that we will see French Court for some time while Mary is still there but I don't think they will show 3 courts and follow Catherine's story, I don't think Laurie wants this. So if Francis dies soon I can see them sending Mary back to Scotland in season finale and starting S4 without France, Just England and Scotland.

I really hope so, they better because otherwise they will need a completely new cast, new characters without fans and without anybody who cares about them, so what's the point of all the 3 seasons

In an interview Laurie said that they have never had a conversation about keeping Francis in the series. Really? I would have thought they would have considered changing plans after they saw how great EVERY scene with Mary and Francis is.

They don't want to change history that much even though they could, because they changed enough things so far, why not this one too?

Mary in Scotland feels like another show to me. Honestly, assuming Mary leaves for Scotland, I'm not sure that I would want the show to go with her. Other than Mary, all of the characters that I care about would be in French Court.

Interesting. I don't remember Laurie saying that they never discussed it. I just know that she has said from the beginning that Francis' death was one of the historical points that they intended on sticking with. Like you said, you'd think they would have been tempted to change their plans after seeing how popular Francis and Frary are...and Tobelaide's insane chemistry. But...that's not the story they want to tell.

Yeah...I just can't imagine leaving all of French court behind.

Is it somewhat unprecedented? I don't know because I haven't watched many dramatic TV series, but I can't think of show that has chosen to fall apart in as epic a fashion as we are about to witness with Reign this season. It's bizarre, isn't it?
