Sorry to bump this thread AGAIN.
Just wanted to share that I watched the movie "Gifted" this past weekend. I highly recommend it. Very heartwarming, and the little girl in it is SO talented. Sidenote: I have fallen madly in love with Chris Evans and I have no regrets. __________________

Yes, I knew she looked familiar! Her name is McKenna Grace, and she is just awesome. I looked up her IMBD and she has quite a resume already! She's been on Fuller House, Designated Survivor, Vampire Diaries, and on and on.
I had a staff Christmas party tonight at work, so I couldn't watch the latest episode of OUAT. I will do so ASAP. __________________

Started watching Gunpowder. Didn't finish though. Not enough time.

I had never even heard of Gunpowder, but I just googled it and it sounds interesting. I do love British history... and Kit Harrington. Plus, it's just a miniseries, so not a huge time investment.

Hey all.
I'm caught up on OUAT, but aside from that, I haven't watched much of anything new recently. My daughter and I are doing an OUAT re-watch and we're almost done with that. I watch a lot of TV in January and February because it's cold and I don't want to go out and do stuff. What did you all think of the OUAT winter finale? I thought the time jump made things a little confusing because we suddenly jumped to the middle of a bunch of stories that we'd either just seen the beginnings of or hadn't seen at all yet. I think a lot of people had already guessed that Regina cast the curse and it had something to do with Henry because they kept avoiding actually saying that Drizella had been the one to cast it. I'm interested in this "war of the witches" story for the second half. |

I was amused at Regina's line where she said something about them not being here to talk about timelines...I think the writers don't even know their own timeline yet so they just keep everything vague about how it works until they know where they are going with it. Because it's all nonsense. The only way I can enjoy it is by not thinking to hard about when it is and what happened in between.

Yeah the timeline is a disaster. There's no way that Zelena's daughter should be 25 while Henry only looks about 30 and Regina and Zelena are about 40. Also Alice should be about the same age as Emma. I think the writers just don't care about the timeline. They wanted to use characters who were kids last season without aging the adults so they're going to do it and that is that.

Hey Sherry! Good to see you back here.
Just watched the winter finale of OUAT tonight. Really good! I guess you could explain some of the timeline issues by simply saying that aging happens at different rates in different realms, but it's still too confusing. I think you're right, Sherry. They wanted to age up the kids from last season without aging the adults, so... that's what they did. At least Regina's quote shows that they are aware that it makes no sense. It makes a lot of sense that Regina was the one who cast the curse to save Henry. The impossible choice she has to make now, though. Watching The Crown now. __________________

I need to get back into The Vampire Diaries. I've heard a lot of good things about The Crown. I put that on my netflix list. |
