Snow/Charming was always a little bit precious for my taste. I was always more compelled by Snow/Regina angsty friendship and Swan Queen and Rumple and all the ways he seemed to have his hands in everything and of course the fairy tales themselves. But I will admit, the first...maybe 3 or 4 episodes felt a little slow and lacking in excitement. However, I generally give a show at least 5 episodes before decide. But OUAT really had me at "Sorry I'm late"

Really, all of the things you mentioned are what kept me watching OUAT. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic, so Snow/Charming ( and David/Mary Margaret) was not too precious for me. Give me two strong characters who are meant to be together and are being kept apart and I'm THERE. ALWAYS.

I think your policy of giving a show at least 5 episodes before making a final judgment is a good one.

I loved OUAT as soon as I saw the trailer.

I love Snow and Charming. I didn't like the Kathryn story in season 1, but I think their origin story in the flashbacks of season 1 was the best love story the show ever did. Just my opinion of course.

There have been several shows I've ended up loving that it took me a while to get into.

I'm with you. I knew right away that it was something that was right up my alley. Fairytales, romance, mystery...

That's my opinion, too.

I just got a blue-ray/DVD of La-La Land for Christmas. I actually haven't seen it yet, but I've been wanting to for some time. Really looking forward to watching it soon.

Well, I enjoyed the first episode, and I definitely want to know what happened to Will and what happens next. I also love the music and the retro 80's vibe. Really fresh and fun. I'll keep watching.

It's not the type of show I'm usually attracted to, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. So far, I think it lives up to the hype. I really like it.

I am getting my netflix and hulu lists ready for my cold weather hiberation of only leaving the house when necessary.

Rewatching first half of season 7 of OUAT
Continuing The Vampire Diaries
Season 2 of Travelers
If I get through all that, starting The Crown and Dark Matter and maybe picking back up Heartland
