I like both.. yeah the books are long and very descriptive.. but once i got used to that I think it's cool.. we all have the show in our minds and we know how everything looks.. but when Martin wrote the books there wasn't anything to lean our imagination onto.. so I get why he describes everything with much detail..

First of all that manip is genius! And second, yes it's a pity we didn't know more about the Houses in the show but I guess that's why the books are there for.

Well yes, but a few sex scenes less and a few more mentions of other houses wouldn't have hurt the show either.
