Perhaps there's a difference between the spell Katrina cast from the Hex her Coven did to Jeremy.

They said they stop his heart but they never mention that he was dead. Though that would be the general assumption. I also think that while he couldn't free himself he could slow down his aging. While Katrina kept him alive and stop Ichabod from aging altogether.

If it doesn't get explained, it's pretty poor writing and a giant plot hole.

This. I'm also wondering if an aged Jeremy is a disguise. Would Abbie and Crane listen to a very knowledgeable 25-30 year old Sin-Eater? I think they'd be a little suspicious. The Sin Eater being older and apparently lonely and a bit of a father figure to both witnesses made Abbie and Crane more trusting of him.

With regards to the episode, I thought it was descent, not the best of the season though.

So basically everything Crane and Abbie did in tonight's episode was based on a lie. It was just Henry/Jeremy/War Horseman leading Ichabod and Abbie by the nose so that they eventually fall into the trap and be separated. Deputy Andy played a role in this too.

And Crane betraying Abbie by redrawing the map to purgatory is what got them in this mess.

Sure Henry as Ichatrina's son wasn't unexpected but I did not find that to be a good twist. I thought it was dumb, quite frankly. lol He agrees to join forces with Moloch and contribute to the apocalypse because his mommy and daddy (not really) abandoned him? Am sorry but that is almost as lame and petty as HH being love sick over Katrina.

Best part of the episode for me was Abbie/Jenny, Abbie/Corbin/Andy and Ichabod and his father.

Overall, I found the finale to be disappointing, predictable and lame. Definitely lived down to my expectations.

scorpio_chick, I do understand and even agree with some of your points. Now that I think about it, Henry/Jeremy doing this because Mommy/Daddy "abandoned" him does seem just as petty as Abraham being the HH because Katrina didn't love him.
