I think The Walking Dead has had about 4 showrunners. None of them were incompetent enough to tank the show though.

Interestingly, via a comment from Bob Orci on Twitter, he too is no longer involved in the show. I'll never understand how so many people involved in the first season just seem to disappear during and after the second.

I don't understand how unprofessional the showrunners have to be to waste such awesome chemistry between Ichabbie! Fans loved it and it was the whole show, yet these people just don't get it!

I have a question: would it help people better process and deal with what happens at the conclusion of Season 3 if connections were drawn between those events and the apocryphal passage from John that is quoted in Season 1?

'Cause I've got a sneaking suspicion that, even with a change in showrunners, that passage and what happens in Ragnarok may in fact be connected.

I think it would've been better for fans if the writers didn't pretend that Abbie was only ever a prop to Crane's life. The writers made it seem like Abbie was only ever around to move along Crane's destiny and it seems like they forgot about Season 1. Where it was Two Witness vs Four Horseman.

So I think us fans are upset with how things were handled.
I should've known this show was going way downhill once Horsemen start dying.

Season 1 wasn't actually about "two Witnesses versus four Horsemen", though, at least if you look at the progression of the story from the Pilot through to Bad Blood and the number of times that the Horsemen get mentioned or seen versus how many times their master, Moloch, gets mentioned or seen.

To borrow a pair of terms coined by the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom, the Horsemen are the "Little Bads", and Moloch is the "Big Bad".
