It was a shock to me while I was watching it.

I expected it to be a fake out until Abbie started saying she's done what she needed to do, then I was l just like WTF?!?!?!

Looking back I feel like I shouldn't have been so shocked - Nicole's acting has been off for a lot of this season to me (of the episodes I watched), like she wasn't all there in her scenes...and the trying out of Betsy and Zoe...why they were even brought in in the first place.

One word--cleavage. Maybe its just the cynical side talking, but from what Ive read it truly feels like that was the point of Betsy's entire existence on the show. She provided the sex appeal in those tight corsets. Its the only thing that makes sense because she didnt provide much else other than to be a sounding board for Crane. And Zoe--maybe she was brought in to pump up Crane-make him look adorkable to fan girls or whatever since they had no intention of making Ichabbie happen.

Completely agree, and I definitely agree that the writers felt by throwing all that Ichabbie in there, fans would be less upset... yeah they sure were wrong.

Of course they were wrong..... they're morons. Ichabbie is the heart of the show! they would know that if they didn;t completely FORGET about all the magic of season 1! (still completely bitter)

I'm still bitter too. Season 1 got me all invested in this show, season 2 was rather trying for me and season 3 looked very promising, before it crashed and burned. What a bunch of BS!

Agree with you for sure.
The finale season 3 episode ruined the whole season.

Season one was amazing! It set the tone and pacing for what the series should have been.

Season two was a TRAIN WRECK! A glorified train wreck.

Season three was cleaning up some of the damage that was left behind in season two.... but that ending..... THAT ENDING...... O_O...... WTBFH?! I still can't get over it! UGH!

Probably if the same showrunners remained, things would've stayed awesome?
