You know, so long as it doesn't go the way of Supernatural's Winchester family, which is a tragedy on itself, I can learn to deal. I didn't expect it. I'm mostly spoiler-free so now I just need to wrap my head around what I just saw at the end.

I had a feeling there'd be backlash over the purgatory stuff - i'm not going anywhere near tumblr

and it IS within Abbie's character, and based on the information they had IT MADE SENSE.

but i just can't even - they got like two seconds together


and i STILL can't figure out Jeremy's aging - NO SENSE So if he aged normally, but ya know, dead, he'd look MUCH older. Or, he didn't age at all, and should look like he's in his 20s, maybe 30s..........they've got some splaining to do!

and i'm worried about how long Katrina will be out......

All we can do is use common sense and love our Ichatrina. I even signed up for twitter just to love on em. Though, admittedly I'm kinda terrible at it

and their love, and katrina's usefulness is cannon so.......

the scenes we got with him pining away for her, and the iphone and just.....unf, so good

now who is going to free the three of them?

and what are we going to talk about for 8 months? (i think it's a HUGE mistake to a put a NEW show in hiatus for that long, BIG mistake

They did give us some great stuff with Ichabod in reference to Katrina.
Hopefully, we can talk about fanvids if nothing else. I really need to see some new ones.

I don't have a Tumblr. Even my Twitter account is never used. So I don't have to worry about narrow-minded so-called-fans throwing a hissy fit because their preferred couple and/or character fell on the wayside. lol I trust anything of relevance that comes through there will make its way here with purpose.

I'm glad that my belief in Katrina's inherent goodness remained true to the very end. On a story-telling standpoint, it'd be a major WTF scenario if she was an enemy all along.

So the show has aired and I'm of mind not to use spoiler tags.

Apparently, Jeremy's aging is a matter of great debate. He was Hexed, a spell probably a little more malevolent than Katrina's to Ichabod's. Rationalizing it, I assume it prolonged his life even as he aged. Being a servant to Moloch probably doesn't help.

Admittedly, I'm a bit floored by Henry's (right now I prefer to refer to him as Henry and not Jeremy) anger against his parents. He sanctified his father. Saw his pain and witnessed his grief over losing a child he never knew. Showed empathy in his dark moment that I'm almost considering that Jeremy is possessed in some way. Again, vengeance against the Coven that did this to him makes more sense to me than him outwardly making his parents suffer, Katrina, especially, since it was a sacrifice made out of love. Had his powers not have inadvertently killed his caretakers, Jeremy would probably have had an entirely different upbringing.
