Effy - I love he does other things.

I heard about it and saw some backlash on my dash but not sure if it was wide spread. And honestly when I heard about it my first thought was oh look there they go baiting Beth/Emily fans again.

I doubt I'll ever really be free just because Emily still has ties to the show but I'll take it.

I will say, this seems to go further than baiting. All it did was remind people of a time when Beth was stupidly and nonsensically ooc, there are no td clues there. I swear it's hard not to think gimple hates us.

Heather, Twitter, Facebook and TD were flipping out.

Gimple sucks. They don't have to bait anymore because they simple use Emily at every chance they get. She was on the show from S2-5 yet her figure is just now coming out?, They have her at the S6 premiere, had her showed up to filming last season in the finale. All they ever do is bait. Even in the update bio's they have Dawns as she was shot dead, while Beth's is "Daryl carries her lifeless body. It just pisses me off.

The figure thing I get. I just don't think it makes good business sense to wait so long but sense seems to be rare in those parts.

Effy - Yeah I'm just so tired of all the bull****.

And I still don't like seeing Daryl carrying her out.

Oh no I meant out of the hospital as well.

There are some people who seem to think that was some sort of bittersweet romantic moment and it doesn't sit well with me at all. That could just be me though.

I mean I guess I can see what they mean but like you it doesn't sit well with me either. I mean it's sweet Daryl was the one carrying her out as he was the only one who really cared but it felt very...exploitative.

Exploitative is a good way to describe it. I also once saw a tumblr post calling it the epitome of manpain and now that's all I can think of when I see it. It's a pet peeve of sorts that people romanticize it.

Yeah that's a very good point too. It was like look how sad Daryl is! And OMG carrying the girl he grew close too and had feelings for! Look at the pain in his face! It's like they did it solely for the purpose to show off Daryl's pain.
