Decent ep, not overly exciting. I would say I hated how they did the "twist" with the entire half winning immunity but it kept Carson and Carolyn safe so I was happy. :lol:

Heidi is a bit of an idiot. Why did she even play that dumb "advantage"? She didn't need to at all. And she's just gonna piss people off. We haven't even seen this woman the entire time the show has been on lol. Can't say I am a big fan of Lauren or Brandon either, and didn't care about any of them staying or going.

I don't like Jam Jam much, how can they tolerate him? Hes so blunt and rude. I am kinda shocked they didn't send him home, but Matt was the smarter move. He had more connections. I did like him, but he was also a bit boring. It does suck he couldn't even play his shot in the dark though??? What a dumb rule? But he should have kept it on him at all times. And Jam Jam staying is better for Carolyns game, so I'm fine with it.

I'm mighty glad I don't have to watch the dorky ass showmance anymore too. :lol: Sorry.

I was kinda hoping they would get rid of the other guy though, cant remeber his name.

Yeah the advantage she had was really pointless. And I said the same thing she didn’t need to use it.. then she went telling everybody she had it lol.

The only thing with that Vote advantage is that she should not have had to voice OUT LOUD to everyone who she wanted the person to vote for. That affected how everyone voted IMO. :shrug:

Haven't seen the episode yet, but another forced OTT "twist" down the drain it sounds like. It might of had a bigger impact if it doesn't have to be said out loud who the vote is for (I agree that will clearly affect how people vote) and they split the merged tribe again. They keep making things harder than they need to be, I'll be glad when they can just be one damn merged tribe, so hopefully after this week they are back to that. I like Matt, but he's been disappointing cause he's done nothing. I thought he would do more or play better like Carson, so I don't mind that he went either *shrugs* Especially to not get anymore of that fake flirtmance or whatever.

I didn’t have problem with how it was done. since she wants to use it stand on that, don’t be secretive. Plus I felt like Frannie should’ve been awarded that advantage she actually won the overall challenge. Saving all of them

Totally agree. I was thinking she would wait in the booth and take over the vote secretly without anyone knowing whose vote she was taking. It was annoying she had to say it out loud. I personally wouldn't have used it.

Maurice, it was kind of dumb how a random key find gave someone an advantage lol.

Saw the episode, would of been better if they weren't forcing another dumb OTT twist RME. I only like when they have them in two tribes when they both go to tribal, I always find that fun. Otherwise, stop doing this bs! You can tell they are throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks. Breaking them up in two tribes was pointless, but it was even worse to have two individual immunities, but the the one that outlasted everyone would have their entire tribe be safe and none of them vote, just watch the losing tribe vote but they have no say. HUH? Again, dumb and trying too hard. Franny's individual immunity was pointless. It would of been better to just have both tribes vote someone out, then maybe they could of still blindsided Danny. I like Matt and Yam Yam (Who I feel is on borrowed time just like Josh was, cause he's always surviving by the skin of his teeth) so I felt bad for both of them. I still feel the same that Matt hasn't really done anything at all, so on that front I didn't mind him going but I did still like him.

Hopefully they don't have another forced and butchered twist ruin another potential blindside and they can get rid of Danny. I've found him arrogant for a while and I can see him winning if he gets to the end. I've also been disappointed by Lauren, I was expecting a lot from her and I feel like she's done nothing too. Oh yeah, the other twist about Heidi taking over the other person's vote was dumb as well. Making it only be for that tribal, everyone knowing about it cause of how it's set up, and having to tell everyone about it and who to vote for OUT LOUD. It would of worked better if it was one that could be used for a while like the other advantages and it's done in secret. Survivor is trying too hard with these twists with this new version of Survivor that their brains have turned to mush. I'm really annoyed it blew the Danny blindside right out the water. Again, hopefully next week *crosses fingers*

^^ They're adding too many 'twists' it's not the same anymore because of it and it's not as fun to watch IMO. :shrug:

Yeah, the new force fed "twists" haven't been fun in a while. The twist with three people going to a new tribe was good, but besides that one they haven't been. I liked the hourglass twist they did the first two seasons, that is another one I wouldn't mind if they brought back but did it differently somehow. Speaking of twists, I'm surprised they never brought back the Hidden Immunity Idol Nullifier. With their obsession with them, I thought they would bring back that extra twist indefinitely.

I did too, although it was better in 41 than it was in 42 because it actually had impact on the endgame and FTC in 41.

It was in 42; we just never saw it.

I may be late, but I've always said and wondered why they stopped doing the Survivor Auction. I watched two videos about it on "Once Upon an Island's" channel and finally got the answers lol.

It was so fun to watch the second video and it reminded me why I loved the auction, I still love seeing these people that are starving getting food and bidding on it. I never noticed or realized what killed it was when they started introducing advantages in the auction, people wouldn't bid on the food until the advantage came up and Jeff said it got less interesting to watch. I'm also glad in the first video, that it's Jeff's voice asking people for help in how to fix it so that gives me hope they are thinking about bringing it back one day. Like most already said, just have them go back to bidding on food! That's when it was fun and carefree. They are so addicted to all these OTT advantages, twists, and endless hidden immunity idols, I wonder if that's too horrifying for them. They already have so many in the game, they don't need them in the auction.

I feel like the hidden immunity idol killed some of what made Survivor great in the earlier seasons, and the advantages killed the auction. I have watched a few of those videos about some of the winners, and it took me back to good ol' Survivor (and the great things about it that went away) I really miss that version and think it was much better then before it became all about advantages and idols IMO. I really hope they bring the Survivor auction back one day, it was one of the best things about the show.

I think Lauren has more potential than Heidi, we'll see if we get more screentime from her.

I dont mind twists once in a while but we dont need new things ever episode.

I think Idols would be a lot better if they hid like 3 in a season or an unknown number and that was it. So when and if people found them it was it... they wouldnt automatically "go back into play" once someone is voted out.
