The thread title is based on CBS television promos. This season, two of the most popular past Survivors are returning! I don't consider this a spoiler as CBS is actively promoting it.

Any guesses as to who the past survivors are??

Can't wait for the new season. Guatamela looks really cool!

Thanks for starting the thread. I didn't realize it was starting next week. I have to start paying attention.

I read on another board who they are so I won't guess. I wonder whether they're going to be competing (I'm against that) or if they're there for some other reason. CBS hasn't said in the promos, have they?

I am thinking Colby because he is pretty popular with the ladies. As far as a female, I have no idea.... I'm not sure what they are returning for. It will be interesting to see for sure.

I'm excited...hopefully it'll be a good season.
The past survivors thing, meh. I'm not really against the guy playing but I am against the girl who's back in, even though I like the girl better. Does that even make sense?
I think they'll be playing cause I read in EW that they originally announced 18 castaways would be playing, but they only released the names of 16.

This week's TV Guide has an article on the show. I think it's this week's.

Ugh! They had their turn! Unless there's another all-stars season. I don't like them bringing people back to play again.

I'll be tuning in this season. I don't know who's coming back since I'm not spoiled. I don't really like the idea though no matter who it is.

Well I was spoiled! Some article just blurted it out without warning...but it should be interesting now that I know who it is!

Sorry you got spoiled, mh67511. I went looking for it so I didn't mind in this case, but I know how it feels when you get spoiled and don't want to be.

I think this season shows a lot of promise...Guatemala looks like an interesting location.

I hope the 'lady' isn't Jerry! Or Sue!! I can totally deal with Colby, but not Jerry/Sue! Maybe it's the chick that is dating Jeff Probst, ha. That wouldn't fly.

I read they start off with a 12(?) mile trek? They try to make this harder every year. I'm surprised some of these people dont just drop dead. If I had to compete on little or no food/water and out in the sun all day, it would kill me. Heck, I get shaky if I skip breakfast.

Eh. Well I'm not very impressed so far. Atleast the challenges look to be a LOT harder this year.


I'm not impressed with the returning survivor contestants. I was never a huge fan of either, really. I probably like the guy more than the girl. (I wont spoil it!! )


I thought the beginning was very rushed. Don't we normally get a look at each individual, and what they do, ect? I can't remember The only one I can really remember is Blake....poor guy. Hope he gets better.
