I thought she came back on a bereavement leave after her mother in law died. But it was supposed to be short-term. And yet she's still around. I know they haven't as clear how short of a period of the show is dealing with although Halloween and Christmas was celebrated LOL. Obviously they wanted to bring Geena into the lives, so I am curious if she's now assigned state side.
I am glad the show is likely to come back. I am enjoying it. They all have found their groove. __________________

There are few plot holes but I hope they fix that for next season I guess.

A great season finale last night. I like how they allowed Jackie to finally break down over her sister's death after trying so long to keep it together. Dan had his breakdown in the premiere, and now Jackie was allowed to really show how much she misses her sister's impact on her life in the season finale.
You just know with BBT ending. Johnny's David will be back in a bigger role next season. I can see Darlene's dilemma. On some levels I like Ben and she has a real chance but then David brings history, both good and bad. There is certainly avenues for next season. Poor Becky. She finally finds something positive and then she's forced back... __________________

^ I agree. I loved Laurie's performance in that scene and her final breakdown and letting Dan try to comfort her. It was realistic and just heartbreaking.
I was actually mad at David. He didn't want to create a live with Blu, kids, marriage etc, because he already had that with Darlene, but she's trying to move on and then he just dumps this on her and expects her to end things with Ben? Not cool to me. Even though I loved Darlene/David, they sort of made him look a bit like a donkey's butt in this finale. And poor Becky, the men in her life literally just taken away with out notice.  Great finale and I can't wait until next season!  |

And it looks like Lecy has also closed her deal. So it's likely now a formality. The actor who plays DJ is expected back, but won't be in every episode.
I am curious about where it all goes. I am sure we'll see David more... Although it won't be full time since Johnny is not ready to go regular again so soon after BBT. __________________

They have now greatly expanded Season 2 to maybe 19 episodes. Close to a full season. Looks like they found wiggle room in the schedule especially for Laurie. So I am curious where they go with Season 2.
