I love the new story arc with Becky's character and wonder if she will give the baby up for adoption, that is if she can carry to full term.

She was so thrilled about the baby. She not be financially well off, but she seemed to want the baby. And one could think maybe it was Roseanne's gift if you believe in life leaves you, but something new comes your way. Especially since she was told she had a 5% chance of motherhood. But I could see that she examines it. But I think she might keep the baby in the end.

But it's a better story than the surrogacy story last season.

She was leaning on keeping it last episode. I know Darlene/david is a popular ship but I do like Darlene with her new boss. I like that he has his own opiniom

Plus seeing Sarah Chalke's character re-appear was perfect because she has all the money and she was feeling not happy. So it showed Becky that it's not money that makes a happy child or happy mom.

I really enjoyed the Becky and Darlene scene. Showed how strong the bond is despite their sarcastic sparring. I really do think Becky's family would jump to help. They might not have the money, but it's a Conner baby. Something good in the pain and hurt after losing Roseanne.

I do like Darlene and her boss. But if David comes back, I likely would be on his side. But it would be a interest contrast and Darlene is able to speak her mind and yet he does too.

I would like to know more about DJ's life. I thought Gina was back on short leave, and yet she's still around?

But this season is very strong as everyone is more into the roles and they get it. I loved how Jackie and Dan finally addressed the elephant in the room so to speak. With how she is seen in the family now that Roseanne is gone. Love that Dan sees her as family and that doesn't change.

^^ I agree. It was a 'tender' moment between sisters but still funny and cute.

A couple things I'm confused about that have not been addressed though. I though Jackie had a baby with her then husband on original Roseanne series, what happened to that kid?

It been assumed that the show is ignoring that subplot. It's been wiped from the canon of the show. They made a comment of Jerry the forth Conner kid when the show came back last year, but no one has mentioned him of late.

But Jackie's son seems to be forgotten like it never happened. She seems to be wacky aunt who has never really found happiness or it goes wrong.

The writers said they haven't decided if Andy exist or was part of Roseanne book so their still mulling jackie having a kid over

Right they could make it part of the 'book' like Dan dying at the end of the original so...up in the air still.

I guess they can say he went to live with his father and has little contact with the Conners since he was a kid or his mother. It is strange that they haven't mentioned Jerry since Roseanne died. Maybe he'll show up if the show goes to a new season.

I have to say - i thought i would be disappointed since Roseanne isn't in the show but the everyone seems to be pulling their weight I wish we had more backstory on DJ. He's on screen but it's the littlest amount.

Darlene and her boss seem to be hitting it off How about he was protective of her when she was a cocktail waitress?

I do think they have given DJ's wife more than DJ too, in terms of lines and screen time.
