yes! brian walked around like a holy roller, but at the same time, so did angela. i feel like this show got teen angst the closest to reality though. ever. although, jordan's learning disability didn'tmake me like or dislike him further. i always thought he was funny outside of angela...

Yes, I don't know if Brian thought he was above everyone else. He certainly was very (book) smart. I think he desperately wanted to be included with everyone else.

I think Brian had self-esteem issues and suffered from what is now known as NICE GUY SYNDROME. It's not that he was awful, but he felt like cause he was her friend and liked her that he deserved to be liked back.

there are a couple of eps that i rewatched earlier this year where i felt brian felt very self-entitled, but he didn't do anything about it. he just watched from the sidelines, but he was also above it all in the beginning. i mean, in the pilot, he knocked everything about everything, but at least he did it to angela's face. i respect him for that. def! what was great about the show though was that every teen acted like this, except for rickie.
