^ It was very powerful. I completely forgot what Marcel knew about Hope when Finn took him and he was trying to extract Klaus' big secret from him. It took some research to find out that Marcel did know about Hope's existence, and that Klaus had compelled him to forget about her at the end of season one.

That was heartbreaking Klaus's compelling him to forget sorta OT but also heartbreaking wha Klaus had to do to his biological father that hurt

^ I loved the scene where Klaus found Marcel at the compound with Hope in his arms. Klaus speculated that he took her because he wanted him to cure the vampires of their werewolf bites, and then Marcel took some of the blame for what they were dealing with in that moment. He said that it happened because he brought Mikael to New Orleans a hundred years ago. I loved that he apologized for that act, and then Klaus thanked him for saving Hope when he willingly gave him his blood.

I know! Clearly Ansel would have been the positive parental influence that Klaus had needed but never got. I wish Klaus had been able to trust him.

Yea from both of them to do that firstly Marcel to apologize about Mikael and Kalus to have thanked him plus willing given him his hybrid blood for werewolf bite

Ansel would have been great for Klaus cause like you said no positive parental and Ansel seemed to have clearly loved Klaus I wished that Klaus could have trusted him - but I agree|see why Klaus did what he did - he couldn't take the chance

^ I loved that moment, especially because I remember thinking, "Look at Klaus with his two children." Everything else made that moment even better.

I think in a different time and place, Klaus would have embraced Ansel's presence in his life...if only Klaus hadn't seen it as a bribe from Esther to accept her deal to give up his vampire life.

I don't remember.... it's from an early episode from the previous season though because I remember watching it live.

^ If that's the case, then it's going to take another re-watch for me to find it. Maybe I'll get lucky and I'll find the answer in another way.

I'm in the middle of season three, and Marcel's storyline is going to get started soon. I'm excited for it...and dreading it.

Yeah. From what I remember, it doesn't start off so bad between them. It does end in a bad spot for them, so buckle up for the second half of the season.

^ I hope you enjoy it. The change that Marcel goes through was a complete surprise (to me anyway). With the way things ends up with them in the season three finale, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with them in season four...and then season five.
