ETA: Oh, yeah. Klaus had had an emotional day with Rebekah and Elijah in the cemetery. He looked drained by the time he came home to discover Marcel ready to confront him at the compound. I was happy that he walked away without engaging. And yes, Elijah taking action was hot.

I know! I loved that Klaus turned Marcel himself. It showed that Marcel was someone that Klaus loved and he didn't want to lose him.

Personally no one else could have turned Marcel at the end of the day HAD to be Klaus

the end to 1x22 really was like Klaus and his 2 children Related to Marcel having Baby!Hope and than at the compound when Klaus has both his children

I really love that moment! That quiet moment where Klaus was in the compound with both Marcel and Hope will always be one of my favorite season one moments.

Oh the episode when Finn has Marcel trying to get the secret of Hope

^ When I re-watched that scene, I completely forgot what happened after Klaus found Marcel at the compound with Hope in his arms. Part of me wishes Klaus hadn't compelled that knowledge away...but then it hits me that he may have done it so that he could protect him. Finn did manage to take Marcel and hold him hostage when he thought Marcel knew Klaus' secret. If that had been the case, then Finn would have found out about her sooner.

^ From what I remember, Marcel didn't really confront Klaus about his decision to compel away what he knew about Hope. I'm kind of disappointed about that. I really wish they had had a confrontation scene.

I think it makes sense that Marcel didn't confront Klaus he must have understood that Klaus needed to do everything for his daughter

^ Yeah, you're right. Marcel knew that Klaus had compelled the knowledge away so that he could protect both him and Hope. A confrontation wasn't necessary or needed.

Marcel knows Klaus so Marcel knew that he did what he did for his daughter - Marcel also knows Klaus well enough to know that Klaus will do ANYTHING either good or bad when he has too

Poor Marcel the losing of Davina really did absolutely break him completely I feel his pain and understand it all being so fresh with angry and grief

Yet again do understand that the Mikaelson's had to do it really no other solution to it - I feel horrible for Marcel|Vincent and Kol regarding to what happened to Davina

Just Marcel's pure hatred for the family when he confronted Elijah|Klaus Oh snap what Vincent brought to Marcel - the secrum from Aurora's heart well this is gonna get ugly

^ I felt it too. Even though I wanted them to eliminate the threat that was Lucien, it broke my heart that Davina was a casualty in that war.

The one part that I didn't like was that Marcel blamed Klaus for what happened to Davina. From what I remember, Klaus wasn't part of that decision-making process. Elijah and Freya made that call...so why did Marcel blame Klaus too? Did he think that Klaus would have signed off on it too?
