Me too, I hated when he was temporarily fired. He did such a great job with the GOTG films and I'm glad he will properly finish them.

Am curious about his DC project(s) where if I can recall it was affiliated to Suicide Squad or something where am beyond behind on DC

So like you Glad he's being able to finish what he started -- if I recall wasn't it that many of the actors wouldn't do it without him (only can recall actor of Drax but maybe more)

He did a great job directing Suicide Squad 2 (and I hope there is a third film) The actors didn't refuse, but they went online and petitioning for James Gunn to come back, they were all in his corner and wanted him back. I'm sure they couldn't refuse cause they were under contract, so even though they wanted him back if Disney ignored them they would of still had no choice but to return for GOTG v3. The actors and a majority of fans wanted James Gunn to return, and I'm glad it happened. I think DC getting him for Suicide Squad is one of the reasons Marvel wanted him back lol.

Awe that's what it was knew it had something to do with the actors wanting him back
