hi there. i've recently been watching young americans again and i can't get over how good the music in this show is! anyway, i was wondering where i could get goodbye by the crash poets, the one by idol, and the theme song by the gateway people.. thanks in advance

Oh and the version of Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was a wonderful song they used it in the pilot and the last episode of the series as well.

Yes The getaway people also sing the song "Oh How she gave me Love" It was used in an episode of Roswell in the episode Crazy it is a really cool song. You should download it. I love the song Six Packs as well.

There are a few YA "soundtracks" available in eMule. They personally compiled the songs. I think there are around 27 songs.

I love Goodbye and the scenes it was played in in the last episode. It just fits the show so perfectly.

Me too. I grin like crazy and get teary-eyed whenever I listen to it. The same goes for David Gray songs, especially Sail Away.

I just pulled out my YA soundtracks for the first time in ages, and it brings back so many great memories. I wanted to know if the songs from Gone were ever identified, and it just KILLS me that they were never named. I heard a rumor once that the last song of the ep. was by Red Hot Chili Peppers, but never got confirmation on that.

Anja, me too. Sail Away and Goodbye never fail to remind me of the regatta and the railway track. Before you know it, I'm watching the episodes for the umpteenth time
