Can you imagine that I've never actually met anyone who watched Young Americans on their own?! I made a few of my friends watch it, but that's it.

*you know, though it sucks that a lot of people i know don't know about YA...it's not that bad for me. i feel special, i guess...& i don't mind telling them the story...  ^  just saw this today...(didn't see the unaired pilot...)__________________

I don't mind either, but sometimes I quote some YA character (as if it was natural) and nobody gets it.
My best friend actually uses :What's up your butt, Calhoun? and she greets me: "Hi, Jake"...which is kinda sweet. __________________

have you read definitive? (ya/l word/smallville crossover) there's a second part, already>>where i am, where i've been. (lazybones too lazy to post the links...maybe later. ) I've found other ya/ l word crossovers. some just relating jake/shane as one. i'm continuing my fic, too. but it will definitely take some time. i just decided to continue the story, but i'm not actually writing the other parts yet...
i've had livejournal for months now but it wasn't until last week that i actually did something about it. i've been enjoying it so far. debi posted something there that went like 'if only the fic writers knew how right they are' and the first reply was "what?! tell me tell me! Jake/ham? I'd faint.... or i could be totally off" hehe...yeah, i half (just half?)-expected debi to say yes(turns out, it was another boone storyline) but hey, at least i wasn't alone...come to think of it, that reply had a point, as i've said jake/ham fic: crossovers are out there...oh well, one can only, one can *still hope... *thanks for the s. i'm not actually feeling better yet, but i know i'll be fine...__________________
