And Elena....is taking a long looooooong trip with aunt Jenna, never to be seen again?

Katherine can take her place. I like Katherine. She's sassy.

Yeah, okay, you don't really notice how hot he is at first, because he's surrounded by all these other hot guys that distract you, but once you notice him, you start to see how great he is

she can even take one by herself, leave Jenna here with Alaric

I do like Katherin too, even though shes a bitch

I think Nina does a much better job playing her

Definately he totally out-hots them all

I think Jenna is boring and her character is kinda...useless? I don't know, she never really does anything, other than get herself in trouble.

Alaric could date Katherine instead? That'd be fun.

True. I think for her, as an actress, it's just much more interesting to play such an intriguing, layered character. It must be way more fun than playing just your typical high school teenager.

Aww but regardless of how useless she is I do kind of like her with Alaric

though now that you mention it, I also feel the pull of Katherine/Alaric

It must be much more interesting to play an evil layered character than to play someone who mostly just annoys

So do I, especially given the circumstances, how Alaric though Damon had killed Isobel, how he'd turned her into a vampire, its insane to form that sort of bond with a person you despised most your life

(also a little on the unbelievable side, but hey, this is TVD

the thing is, they probably won#t be as beautiful in 25 years. i mean how do they intend on making us believe that vampires don't age for such a long period of time.

but otherwise i definitely support that plan.

But yeah, vampires not aging is a hard thing to pull off. Just ask Buffy's Angel

I was watching some ANGEL earlier this week and my roommate said that she liked his slightly more mature look as Booth than baby-face Angel. We were watching season 1. By "Not Fade Away" David is looking a lot more like Booth than he did in "City Of". Ian ages very well and i both envy and enjoy him for that.

There's just such a difference between Angel in season 1 of Buffy and in season 5 of Angel...!

Ian does age well
