I love all of her positive interviews about the Anna/Bates ship. It's a testament to both of them that they're able to knock their scenes out of the park ... be they witty, serious, or heartbreaking scenes, JF and BC capture us and hold us in the palm of their hand.

I think I need to rewatch some S1 A/B moments because that was their happiest, I think.

I watched some S1 eps last night. Starting with the first episode. to O'Brien for kicking him.

I forgot that years had passed between their almost kiss and then their first actual one. All that chemistry and UST ... makes it even nicer when I rewatch their first kiss!

Gotta love how Anna just knocks through all of his walls ... looking back through their relationship, she had his heart, IMO, the moment she smiled at him. She's the first to shake his hand when he arrives at Downton, introducing herself and making him feel at ease. She's the one who gives him a hand up after he's kicked down. She goes to his room when he's crying and he opens the door, quite literally, to her act of kindness. It's Anna who broaches the subject of being in love with somebody who doesn't love you back ... and later on in that episode boldly (as BC put it) "declared her hand" as she declares her love for him. Anna knew her heart and never doubted it, knew she loved this man and didn't care what anybody thought or said (even the man himself ). I like that she's got some spunk, and that she is really the only one that he lets his guard down with.

My other fav love story on DA (other than Mathew/Mary, obviously ) is actually A/B I love the slow build up and how they slowly evolved together.
And just a small side note- I love Anna's uniforms in S1. I know the style changed over the years towards the 1920's but this 'romantic' style suits Anna a lot and in a way even compliments her sweet private moments with Bates

I like S1's uniform too .

I think they're trying to show Anna mature as well as illustrate the uniform change for somebody of Anna's position as ladysmaid and not a housemaid.

I'm fangirling at some of the most recent pics online right now of Bates/Anna. How he looks in the pics . It's a promo pic from the CS, so I didn't want to spoil anybody who didn't want to see it.
