I think probably the script was for them to walk in the supermarket and probably they were told to do what ever they feel was organic after that?

Because according to the video, even pushing the shopping cart wasn't in the script.

Since she said that it started when they decided to push the shopping cart and it wasn't in the script and than of course they picked out things. lol

I definitely will re-watch that scene now soon. lol

I was actually thinking the exact same thing, like WTF?

Were they told to just do whatever? because she said everything in that scene before Kai entered was improvised.

Okay, re-watching the scene, I'll assume all the magic, nicknames, hope, and crossword talk was ALL in the script and the part about the shopping cart, sunglasses and food was improvised. lol

The scene stopped being improvised after the pork rinds.
