I feel so sorry for Regina and Lana played the part so well!

I loved the whole mothers dress element. I found it quite beautiful.

This episode planned out just how I expected it to. The whole R/E plot especially. Including how everyone was weary of Regina.

I really wish we had gotten more of a scene where Snow and Emma were talking about what was going on between her and Hook. Snow just already seemed to know what was going on between them and I would have liked to see Emma go to her first and talk about it.

Nitpicky for me: Why do they have to dress Snow like a grandmother???

My other nitpicky was Charming's wig. I get they had to have one in the diner because it was a continuation scene. But the next morning, they could have mentioned his getting a haircut earlier and gone with Josh's now shorter hair.

it's just that they don't make post pregnancy clothes stylish unless you are rich.. Belle will have fancy clothes post pregnancy, but Snow doesn't because she can't afford it

I do hope they update Snow's clothing a bit. She's can have so many flatterng outfits

BUT if she can afford the entire house and home line from Anthropologie in her loft, I think she can afford some better post pregnancy clothes.

Or at least ones that have a nicer fit.

I adore Hook and Emma, i love that Hook totally calls her out on her avoidance because sometimes she needs that and also the "be patient" scene is Emma telling him wait for me... she wants this but she needs time to know how to be in this coz she isnt good with this but she wants this and also the crisis around them. I love how much belief he has in her and that needs to be there and also someone who embraces her magic and and is proud of her - that someone is not scared by it. Henry, Charming and Hook do that perfectly esp Hook.
Hook has waited for Emma UNTIL she is ready [she is ready and she wants him and them - but she needs time to figure out how to do that], he never ever has said what about me and my feelings until this episode where he is sure he can say that now without her backing away [and she smiled]... because something shifted in them. They are in a relationship deep down even if there is NO label to them. But they have been a team like always and thats what Emma needs someone who stands by her and fights by her and doesnt back away from that and her. I loved him for telling her that she needs to find the moments in her life to enjoy life because crisis is always here and its such a callback to what Charming told her about moments.
Oh and the parallels with the Snowman was so Kristoff/Anna from the movie with Hook/Emma

As for Regina, i dont know - i know its not nice again to have a love taken away from her JUST when she opened her heart but throughout this episode i kinda wanted her to actually realised that she was the one who wrong and murdered Robin's wife atleast acknowledge that.

I felt Robin's dilemma.
Rumple scene at the grave yard was good... i finally see that he is acknowledging that what he is doing isnt right - i felt that

I find it odd that you made this comment and at the same time, failed to notice that she gave up on her idea of killing Marian and ended up saving the latter from that snow monster.

Besides, I suspect Kitsis and Horowitz are yanking our chain on this storyline with this "will she or not resort to evil" crap. It's getting as old as Emma's habit of avoiding relationships. It's amazing that very few people have commented on this, because a lot of TV critics and bloggers are.
