I know a lot of people are ill at the sight of the Evil Queen and Rumple collaborating..... but I'm having fun watching them play together. Cause that's all their doing. It's a power play with dark seduction laced in to see who can one up the other.

We've seen these characters interact since the pilot, and there's always been high tension, but this? I just don't know....guess we'll find out soon enough.

That's exactly what it is. For one second, since the beginning, Rumple and the Evil Queen never gave one hint of being interested in each other enough to indulge in a little heavy breathing.

The best way to keep an opponent from divining ones true plan, you distract them with something else. Rumple and the Evil Queen both use seduction like a weapon, and their using it on each other to keep the other off balance. It won't last for long, because eventually a division will happen between these two. Rumple and the Evil Queen do not play well with others, and eventually they won't play well with each other. Because, before too long, what he wants and what she wants will be at cross purposes, and it will cause them to break their alliance.

I agree with you, it's all about getting what they want, and it's not really each other. And I think we see the alliance breaking already. Rumple telling the EQ she needs to kill Zelena didn't go over well, you could see it in her face. Plus, his statement to her in the next episode promo, "there's nowhere to hide from me, Dearie", doesn't sound exactly friendly. EQ kept coming on to Rumple, he wasn't reciprocating at first, that was obvious, but he decided to use it to his advantage. He told Belle, and I believe he meant it, that the dalliance means nothing to him. He's got some twisted plan in the works.

For me, I've got to believe EQ has at least thought offing the Wicked Witch. I mean, come on, it's THE EVIL QUEEN. She tried to have her own mother killed. I would think, this would be no different. But, yeah, her face was giving off surprise rather than compliance.

Who knows what's gonna happen in the episode two weeks from now.

For me it seems clear in this episode she loves Henry as twisted as that love is expressed, but I am unclear whether her love for Zelena would stop her betraying her.

What I saw on screen was two people trying to out-manipulate each other, a dangerous game to play with the DO as I've said before.

Exactly , they have had a interesting dynamic since the pilot, it was one of my favourite dynamics on screen. Really enjoyed their scenes, but this is so far on the blindside it's ridiculous... they should never have tampered with the dynamics, let it sort of play out as there were in EF...

I just want Rumple and Regina back to snarking at eahc other and alternating between working together and working against each other and no hints of lip-locking or more, is that too much to ask?
