Well August never hid his identity, so I guess he knew from the beginning or from their talk in ny in 2.18. August told neal he was. Turning into wood

Did that happen in Tallahassee? We just re-watched it and I can't remember it.

Neal asked August twice who he was and August never gave him a direct answer. The first time he described himself as Emmas guardian angel and the second time he simply said they were in the same home.

That's possible but I still think he told him after Neal left Emma because telling anyone that you're Pinocchio isn't a good way to make them believe anything you say.
