Will Belle give him a recap of her adventure with Mulan after she left him? She shouldn't because it would break his heart. He would never forgive himself for being fooled by Regina's lie and not setting her free.

YOu know, that's a good point. I wish they would have him talk to her more about what happened to her. I guess we can assume it happened offscreen, but it would be nice for them to have a conversation about how she was coming back to him, what she went through in Regina's castle, her feelings about being in the asylum, etc. But I don't know if we'll ever get that.

Rumple had been aggrieved at the loss of her in the past 28 oblivious years. Knowing his love suffering under a life sentence was painful enough. With pressing concerns at hand, she'd better sink the rest of her story in the ocean. No one who's ever been in jail would like to revisit that part of memory.
