"The phone call! My favorite thing"
I was absolutely horrified to hear from Jane that we almost lost this phone call. It was the most beautiful part of this episode, followed by Rumple and Neal seconds afterwards. Yes, it does make sense.  Belle's love for Rumple opened his heart. Neal needed an awareness of his father's capacity to love. Belle is this beautiful, forgiving, open-hearted gift that keeps on giving. |

I really wish we could see or at least read *all* the deleted scenes! They have to cut about 15 minutes from each episode due to time constraints. That's a lot of footage, far more than what made it onto the dvd set!
