I didn't see the episode but it and the special before it has rejuvenated the Rumbelle community and they are writing and giffing their asses off!

I knew right away it was him too. It would be nice if we got a flashback to them talking via email. I wonder if he'll keep talking to her that way in SB.

I do wonder how long he's going to lay low (although walking down the middle of the street may not be the best way, Dark One) and when they'll first talk to each other.

I'm betting he will hide out at the cabin. It's nice to see Belle had not moved back to her apartment. It appears she is still at their place.

And think about how he left, was it his tie, on a tree so he could find his way back.

He knew even right after he crossed over the line, that he would find a way to get back.

I hope Belle is one of the main things he came back for and not just his power. And I'm also hoping by the end of the season that he comes to the realization that a life with power but without Belle is no life.

These two are just perfect acting partners because they both show an incredible range of emotions with their eyes, their tears and their facial expressions. Just perfect.

But I want to see the actual emails. And I want him emailing her secretly in SB.

You know, I came across some people criticizing Belle for not being more suspicious of her Oxford professor but, c'mon, he had six weeks to build up to his translation and establish trust.

Also, as a nerdy type myself, you get me off on something I'm even moderately interested in, and you may drown in information overload (sorry to all victims of those floods, past, present, and future). I think I feel a little like the little kid jumping up and down going, "Oh, I know! I know! Ask me! I know the answer!"

I imagine a lot of professors have some of that. Some of them--especially the ones who have the more obscure subjects that make other people's eyes glaze over--probably love a chance to cut loose. Being a bit of a nerd herself, I'm sure Belle recognized the type.

Now, did Rumple cut loose with his inner nerd? That's what I want to know. I bet he never gets to discuss ancient Babylonian verb structure with people who actually want to hear the answer.
